CARRIE RESPONDS TO DECADE WINS!
In a short interview on Friday evening Carrie Underwood had some words to say about her Decade Country Music wins. She told All About Music President, Deena Callister quote, "I have the best fans I could ever even ask for. To win a Female Vocalist award is one thing but than to be claimed the Female Artist of the Decade, I don't think that is possible. And to top it all off beating Kenny for Entertainer. I am still in amazement over this." The interview went on for a little longer and Carrie quoted, "When I got my call from Arista telling me I had many awards to pick up I was surprised. I knew about the Decade Awards but I never expected to win any. When I got there to pick them up there was like too many. I am not complaining though. I just want to give a big thanks to my fans!" Carrie won as Entertainer, Female, Song, Album, Single, Music Video, and Breakthrough Artist for the Decade Awards. Carrie is set to meet with us again for an interview in late September.
