WINNER INTERVIEWS WITH ALL ABOUT MUSIC!

Taylor Swift was the nights big winner as she took Entertainer Of The Year. After her award our own Charlie Baker had a quick chat with her about this win:

Charlie: "Congradulations Taylor! What is going through your mind right now?"

Taylor: "I honestly am blank. I can't even believe this."

Charlie: "You surprised a lot of people by picking up this nomination in the first place and now you have won the award as the first female in 10 years!"

Taylor: "I was surprised to get the nomination! And winning, I didnt expect this one at all. I came into the show tonight hoping to win at least Album Of The Year and to leave with all this I cant even believe it!"

Brad Paisley talked with us just a few short weeks before the CMA Awards came out and this is what was said:

Charlie: "Ok, Brad. You are the CMA top nominee with 7 this year. What nomination means the most to you?"

Brad: "As much as I love Male Vocalist, this year I am looking into Album the most. Album Of The Year goes to many more people that deserve it just as much so we will see how the night goes."

Charlie: "Now, you are hosting the show again this year. Tell us about what to expect?"

Brad: "Well, you can expect 20 dresses from Carrie and a lot of laughs. We are very happy to host again this year and didnt even give it a thought before accepting it."

That was the brief part of the interview that has to do with the CMA's. Brad also talked with us about his family, album, and career that will be featured in a news story later on.

Brad won Male Vocalist and gave a few words to our own Deena Callister after the show!

Deena: "Brad! Male Vocalist yet again, what are you thinking?"

Brad: "I am just happy to win again. Keith Urban had such a great year I thought that this might be taken away from me."

Deena: "Now you and Carrie did fantastic hosting job this year. What do you say about hosting next year?"

Brad: "Well thats still a year away but if they call us back I'd co-host with Carrie again in a heartbeat!"

Deena: "You just won Female Vocalist! What do you want to say?"

Taylor: "I am shocked. I mean to be nominated with Reba, Martina, and Carrie is an award itself to me but to win over them, I cant even believe this!

"To win this award it feels to me like I have been welcomed into Country music. I have had a lot of support this last year and am ready to record my next Country record."- Darius Rucker in response to Charlie.

"This is great to win again! Brooks & Dunn can stay around. We can win with them here too." (Jennifer laughs)

Charlie: "You guys just won Vocal Group away from Rascal Flatts! What is going through your mind?"

Hillary Scott: "We did not expect this year at all! We thought maybe we would have a shot next year but we are still new to the scene! I am very happy to win it and to all the supporters."

Deena: "Single Of The Year is yours! Congratulations!"

Hillary Scott: "We won our 2nd CMA! This means a lot out of all the songs from a whole year to win!"

Taylor: "This album has done so well thanks to my fans!"

We did not get a chance to talk to Jamey about this award win

"Brad called me up to record this with him last year and thats when we sang it on the show. It's a fun song and I'm glad it won. Now, lets get ready for the big show!"- Keith Urban

Taylor Swift did not comment on the Video win.

Deena: "Carrie! Thanks for letting us talk to you for a few minutes. What a busy night for you. You guys were great hosts!"

Carrie: "Thank you! We tried to bring more humor to the show this year and hosting is always so fun!"

Deena: "Well you definately did bring more humor and your performance was amazing! You are working up your Entertainer skills!"

Carrie: (laughs) "We wanted to make the performance more entertaining this year and I would we did well I will watch it back tonight when I get home. And I want to add how happy I was to see Taylor win Entertainer. It is great that the Female artists in the industry get recognized!"

Deena: Yes, it is! Girl power! Carrie, thanks for letting us talk with you. The new album is amazing and next year you will be back to grab all the awards!"

Carrie did not win any CMA Awards this year, but there is always next year!
